“Lord GOD, what wilt thou give me, seeing I go childless, and the steward of my house is this Eliezer of Damascus?”

“Wilt thou also destroy and not spare the place for the fifty righteous that are therein?”

“Why shouldest thou be as a man astonied, as a mighty man that cannot save?”

“Why is my pain perpetual, and my wound incurable, which refuseth to be healed?”

“Came I forth out of the womb to see labour and sorrow, that my days should be consumed with shame?”

“How long shall this be in the heart of the prophets that prophesy lies?”

“What have I offended against thee, or against thy servants, or against this people, that ye have put me in prison ?”

“O thou sword of the LORD, how long will it be ere thou be quiet?”
